Other Planning Activity <br /> <br />A. Resolution 1155-22, Recommending Appointments to the 2023 Planning <br />Commission <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald stated the Planning and Zoning Commission consists <br />of seven Mounds View residents, appointed by the City Council to three-year terms, based upon <br />the recommendation of the Commission. Terms expiring on December 31, 2022, include; Gary <br />Rundle. The City advertised openings via the city website (deadline: October 20, 2022), <br />receiving one application for the Planning Commission: <br /> <br />Gary Rundle, 7445 Spring Lake Road <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald recommended the Planning Commission approve the <br />appointments. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Stevenson/Commissioner Munson. To approve Resolution <br />1155-22, a Resolution Recommending Gary Rundle be appointed to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, for the term 2023-2025. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 6 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />7. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />September 7, 2022. <br /> <br />Commissioner Farmer requested a correction to the minutes under Item 5A. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Curtis/Commissioner Farmer. To approve the Minutes of <br />the September 7, 2022 regular Planning Commission meetings as amended. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 6 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />8. Reports <br /> <br />A. Upcoming Planning Cases & Activity <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald stated he had no upcoming planning cases. <br /> <br />B. Staff Updates <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald provided the Commission with an update from staff. <br />He explained the Simon’s property was on hold at this time.
