(F) No person may operate a vehicle in any open space site or on any parkway at a speed in <br /> excess of 15 mph or in excess of posted speed limits. <br /> (G) No persons may operate a vehicle in any open space site which emits excessive or irritating <br /> noise, noxious fumes, dense smoke or other pollutants. <br /> (H) No person may wash, grease or change oil on any vehicle in any open space site. All disabled <br /> vehicles shall quickly be made operational or removed from the open space site. <br /> (I) No person shall park a vehicle adjacent to any curb painted yellow in any open space site. <br /> (J) Vehicles illegally parked, disabled or abandoned may be towed away and impounded at the <br /> owner's expense. The vehicle may be sold if unclaimed after 60 days to pay towing and storage <br /> charges. <br /> (K) No person may drink, consume or have in his or her possession an open bottle or container of <br /> an alcoholic or intoxicating beverage in any motor vehicle when the vehicle is in an open space site or <br /> on a parkway. <br /> (L) Vehicles must yield the right-of-way at all times to pedestrians. <br /> (M) No person may participate in a drag race or test of unreasonable acceleration in any open <br /> space site or on any parkway. <br /> (Prior Code, § 909.08) (Ord. 557, passed 03-27-1995) Penalty, see § 92.999 <br /> § 92.009 ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS. <br /> The Director may adopt additional rules and regulations not contrary to the provisions of this code <br /> governing the use and enjoyment of parks, trails, playgrounds, lakes, ponds, streams and other <br /> publicly-owned properties which shall be prominently posted or publicly announced in the places <br /> where they are intended to apply. Any person who violates a rule or regulation so posted may be <br /> excluded from the use of the park system and may in addition be prosecuted as for a misdemeanor. <br /> (Prior Code, § 909.10) (Ord. 557, passed 03-27-1995) <br /> § 92.999 PENALTY. <br /> (A) (1) Violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be a misdemeanor. <br /> (2) Any person violating any of this chapter may be expelled, ejected or ousted at such time from <br /> an open space site at the discretion of a law enforcement officer. <br /> (B) A person who violates § 92.007(0) of this chapter is guilty of a petty misdemeanor. <br /> (Prior Code, §909.09) (Ord. 557, passed 03-27-1995; Ord. 982, passed 11-08-2021) <br />
