Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />19 <br />20 Council Member Gunn reported she recently attended a Cable Commission meeting where the <br />21 group discussed the organization's staffing model. <br />22 <br />23 Council Member Gunn indicated she attended the open house for the NYFS facility in White Bear <br />24 Lake. She stated NYFS was now aiming to begin helping kids ages 4 and up. <br />25 <br />26 Council Member Lindstrom explained the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting on <br />27 Tuesday, October 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Works Facility. <br />28 <br />29 Council Member Cermak reported she would be attending an Anoka County Fire Board meeting <br />30 on Thursday, October 26. <br />31 <br />32 Council Member Cermak indicated the Mounds View Police Foundation would be meeting next <br />33 on Tuesday, November 14. <br />34 <br />35 Council Member Cermak encouraged residents to bring their used coats to the Community Center <br />36 or City Hall for the coat drive. <br />37 <br />38 Acting Mayor Meehlhause stated he attended the NYFS open house in White Bear Lake as well. <br />39 <br />40 Acting Mayor Meehlhause thanked all of the members of the community who attended the school <br />41 board candidate forum that was held on Monday, October 16. <br />42 <br />43 B. Reports of Staff. <br />44 <br />45 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson stated the fall festival would be held on <br />46 Thursday, October 26 at the Community Center. <br />
