Exhibit B <br />Mo111vvS Vi�v <br />JOB DESCRIPTION <br />Job Title: <br />Inclusion Specialist <br />Grade: <br />Seasonal <br />Supervisor Title: <br />Parks and Recreation Superintendent <br />Department: <br />Parks and Recreation <br />FLSA Status: <br />Non-Exempt/Seasonal <br />Date Reviewed: 2/7/2024 <br />Minimum Qualifications of Education and Experience: <br />➢ Be at least 18 years of age. <br />➢ High School Diploma or GED <br />➢ One (1) year of experience working with people with disabilities, especially children, as a staff or volunteer. <br />➢ Have the desire to work with the public. <br />➢ Be available to work a part- time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. <br />Nature of Work: <br />This position is responsible for providing inclusion services to youth with disability or behavioral related needs <br />who are participating in the Explore More Summer Camp program offered by our department. They support <br />each participant's individual needs and work to create and maintain an inclusive, safe, and enjoyable <br />environment for all participants. <br />Communicates with: <br />Internally — Parks and Recreation staff. <br />Externally —General public. <br />Supervision: <br />None <br />Essential Work Functions: <br />• Provide inclusion support for children with disability- related needs, including support with social, emotional, <br />cognitive, and physical needs when necessary. <br />• Provide activity adaptations when necessary. <br />• Provide inclusion support for children with behavioral related needs, including creating and managing behavioral <br />plans. <br />• Communicate progress with participant families on a regular basis. <br />• Communicate with program staff and Recreation Coordinator about participant progress and necessary <br />accommodations. <br />• Maintain documentation related to participant progress in each program. <br />• Perform other duties as assigned or apparent. <br />• Perform administrative activities to support the program and participants, including record and file <br />maintenance, behavioral forms, and emergency forms. <br />• Perform related duties as required. <br />Other Work Functions (Illustrative OnIVi: <br />
