posing as another person with a fake page. The suspect had also blackmailed the <br />victim, which gave him the opportunity for the assault. Investigator Hellpap was able to <br />identify the suspect and locate the suspect vehicle, which had been repossessed and <br />sold to another person. Charges are pending an Attorney review. <br />In July of 2023, Police took a report of a Robbery at CVS where the victim was <br />threatened with mace after confronting the suspects who were walking out with unpaid <br />merchandise. Investigator Hellpap obtained the license plate of the suspect vehicle and <br />was able to identify one of the suspects, who was subsequently charged. <br />In September of 2023, Police took a report of a vehicle who hit a child while violating a <br />stop arm of a school bus. Investigator Hellpap reviewed vide of the incident. The driver <br />disregarded the stop arm and continued southbound in the northbound lanes, hitting the <br />child as she crossed in front of the bus. The driver was charged with a Gross <br />Misdemeanor. <br />Also, in September of 2023, Police took a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was <br />later located. Investigator Hellpap worked with the jurisdiction the vehicle was recovered <br />in and found the person in possession was the same person who the victim suspected. <br />There were also a number of incriminating text messages between the victim and the <br />suspect. The suspect was charged with Auto Theft. <br />Also, in September 2023, Investigator Hellpap was contacted by St Cloud Police who <br />were conducting an investigation on a resident who solicited what he believed to be a <br />minor for sex. Surveillance was conducted and information was passed on to St Cloud. <br />Investigator Hellpap also coordinated patrol to monitor the house and assist St Cloud in <br />arresting the suspect. <br />INVESTIGATOR ERICKSON 2023 END OF YEAR INVESTIGATIVE HIGHLIGHTS <br />In 2023, 101 cases were investigated by Investigator Erickson. Of those cases, 54 <br />cases were charged out by arrest. 8 cases are still under investigation. Among the <br />cases: <br />■ 3 Protection Order Violations <br />■ 8 Traffic Related Arrests <br />• 19 DWI Related Arrests <br />• 4 Thefts <br />• 6 Possession of Stolen Property <br />3 Robberies <br />• 4 Missing People Investigations <br />a 14 Domestic Assault Investigations <br />® 6 Assault Investigation <br />O 2 Fraud/Forgery Investigation <br />2 Weapons related Investigations <br />• 5 Burglaries <br />• 5 Criminal Sexual Conduct Investigations <br />Domestic Assault Threats of Violence/Weapon Involved Case <br />Officers were called to the 4000 block of Glenhaven for domestic dispute where the <br />suspect pointed a gun at the victim. The suspect fled the scene in a motor vehicle. <br />Investigator Erickson responded to the scene for evidence collection and to interview <br />
