Our project understanding, scope of work, and <br />proposed fee is listed below. <br />PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br />The City of Mounds View desires the development of a full Park System Master Plan to guide <br />future developments and improvements for an improved and more equitable park system that is <br />in line with current and projected community needs and demands. The following Scope of <br />Services is meant to provide the City with a successful planning process and outcome. WSB is <br />always willing to adjust the Scope of Services and corresponding fees as necessary to meet the <br />goals of the City. <br />II. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />PROJECT START-UP AND DATA COLLECTION <br />A. Project Kick -Off Meeting <br />1) Consultant will facilitate an in -person meeting with the Client to review the preliminary <br />schedule, anticipated deliverables, identify key stakeholders, and general discussion <br />of the project goals, concerns, and planning vision. <br />2) Consultant will prepare and distribute meeting summary notes to those in attendance <br />following the meeting. <br />B. Data Collection <br />1) The Consultant will gather all relevant data from the Client. This may include prior <br />planning documents, efforts, and outcomes; existing programming; current city <br />revenue, expenditures, and operating budgets for the park system; staffing, <br />operations, and maintenance data; and park policies and guidelines. <br />2) The Consultant will set up base maps for the park system to include GIS data, <br />current aerials, and general topography information such as lidar suitable for the <br />planning efforts. This task does not include the preparation of site topographical base <br />surveys for each park. <br />C.
