Mounds View City Council March 11, 2024 <br />Regular Meeting Page 9 <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause recommended the Mayors statement be included in the minutes <br />verbatim, instead in a summary format. City Attorney Riggs stated this direction could be provided <br />to staff and the minutes could be amended to include this statement in verbatim form. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to support this recommendation. <br /> <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom reported there would be an Easter egg hunt at Silver View Park on Saturday, <br />March 30 at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated the Tribute Park Committee would be meeting on Tuesday, March <br />12 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reviewed a list of recent meetings he attended in the Mayor’s <br />absence. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause explained Abiding Savior Lutheran Church has asked the Mounds <br />View Lions to host a waffle dinner on Wednesday, March 13 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for an <br />in kind donation. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause commented on Thursday, March 14 he would be attending a Mounds <br />View Business Council meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he would be attending the 3 on 3 basketball tournament at the <br />Mounds View Community Center on Thursday, March 14. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would be participating in a board member interview <br />process with NYFS on Thursday, March 14. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported on Sunday, March 17 the Community Center would be <br />celebrating St. Patrick’s Day from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the Mounds View Lions would be <br />serving corned beef, cabbage and carrots. The cost for the event is $10 per adult and $5 for children <br />under the age of 10. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated the Twin Cities Gateway board would be meeting next on <br />Tuesday, March 19. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause explained on Wednesday, March 20 he would be attending an NYFS <br />finance committee meeting with City Administrator Zikmund. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported a City Council Candidate Forum would be held on <br />Thursday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. for the two candidates running for City Council. <br />
