RESOLUTION NO. 9909 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AUTHORIZING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR POLICE OFFICER KASEY KECKEISEN WHEREAS, Police Officer Kasey Keckeisen has resigned from the City of Mounds View; his last day of employment is April 24, 2024; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 204, and the Mounds View Personnel Manual, Officer Keckeisen will receive a cash payout of his vacation hours and compensatory time; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 204, and the Mounds View Personnel Manual, 50% of Officer Keckeisen's sick leave hours will be deposited into his Retirement Health Savings Plan; and WHEREAS, Officer Keckeisen's balance of accrued and unused vacation is estimated at 31.82 hours and his compensation balance is 4.00 hours; and WHEREAS, Officer Keckeisen's balance of accrued and unused sick leave is estimated at 392.87 hours; and WHEREAS, Officer Keckeisen's rate of pay upon resignation is $48.61 per hour. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves separation compensation to Police Officer Kasey Keckeisen consistent with the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 204, and the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: Hours Hourly rate Payout Vacation Hours 31.82 $48.61 $ 1,546.77 Cash Payout Compensatory Hours 4.00 $48.61 $ 194.44Cash Payout Sick Leave 785.73 x 50%=392.87 392.87 $48.61 $19,097.41 Into RHSP Estimated Total Separation Compensation: $20,838.62 Adopted this 24t" day of April, 2024.
