-3- <br /> Pending more detailed information on park <br /> projects, the item was tabled until the June , <br /> ID <br /> 1986 meeting. <br /> DISCUSSION OF Staff gave a brief overview of the develop- <br /> ESTABLISHMENT OF ment of the Silver View Park, after which he <br /> A POLICY FOR SILVER stated that the Park Commission would be <br /> VIEW PARK establishing a written, formal policy regard- <br /> ing the use of park property adjacent to <br /> residential property. <br /> Following a lengthy discussion, staff asked <br /> for volunteers to serve on a sub-committee to <br /> establish a policy regarding use of park pro- <br /> perty adjacent to residential homes. There <br /> were five volunteers from the Silver View <br /> Park area and two from the Park Commission as <br /> follows : <br /> Kathy Tacke Laurie Trettel <br /> Mary Mitchell Dave Long <br /> Rebecca Delmore Diane Wuori <br /> Tom McKay <br /> STAFF REPORT Staff reviewed an article on solar powered <br /> lighting and indicated that it may be useful <br /> at Greenfield Park. He also reminded the <br /> III Commission of the Arts in the Park program on <br /> June 9 and discussed the letter written by <br /> youth volunteer coach Frank Mazzacco. <br /> ADDITIONAL AGENDA ITEMS Commissioner Wuori asked when the joint park <br /> tour would be . Staff indicated that the it <br /> would be June 21 beginning at Roseville ' s <br /> Central Park , and that the Commission would <br /> be receiving additional information on the <br /> tour. <br /> The Commission suggested that additional <br /> trash recepticles be placed along the trail <br /> at Greenfield Park to discourage littering. <br /> ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Commissioner Long, <br /> seconded by Commissioner Wuori to adjourn the <br /> meeting at 10 : 05 p.m. Motion passed , 7 ayes, <br /> 0 nayes. <br /> . :se-ctfully 'sub i ted , <br /> r i . ce K A ete so Director <br /> arks, Recreatio and Forestry <br /> IliKA/s l 1 <br />
