After_ a brief_ discussion, a motion <br /> was made by Chairperson Burmeister , seconded <br /> by Commissioner Silvis to endorse and adopt <br /> the policy as submitted and request that the <br /> City Council formally adopt the policy in <br /> resolution form. Motion passed unanimously 4 <br /> ayes, 0 nayes . <br /> Staff also mentioned that there had been some <br /> interest by the Silver View Park residents in <br /> purchasing the property adjacent to the park <br /> land. The Commission unanimously agreed that <br /> they would not be in favor of selling park <br /> property. <br /> DISCUSSION ON THE <br /> CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> PROGRAM It was agreed upon that because of the amount <br /> of time needed to thoroughly discuss this <br /> issue, that a special work session by held on <br /> August 7 at 6 : 30 p.m. <br /> GREENFIELD PARK <br /> EQUIPMENT Staff informed the Commission of the City <br /> Council approval of the purchase of play- <br /> ground equipment for Greenfield Park. Staff <br /> reviewed the three bid proposals submitted . 4110 <br /> A motion was made by Chairperson Burmeister, <br /> seconded by Commissioner Silvis to accept the <br /> bid proposal from MN Playgrounds, Inc . for <br /> playground equipment for Greenfield Park not <br /> to exceed $15 ,000 .
