e) YMCA Committee Update — The YMCA Advisory Committee met on <br />March 1, 2004. <br />Agenda was in the packet <br />Report will be out at the end of March <br />f) Groveland Park Building Replacement. — The Cormnissioners made a <br />motion to recommend developing constructions plans. This issue has been <br />placed on the May 3, 2004 City Council Work Session Agenda. <br />• The usage of the building was explained by Dazenski <br />• Dazenski also described the condition of the building <br />• No Build scenario was discussed <br />• These were former over flow class rooms <br />• Start design process <br />• Present case to the City Council on April 5`h (later moved to the May <br />3rd) <br />Motion to direct staff to remove Ramdom Building replacement beyond the City's <br />5 -year Capital Improvement Program: I ioeger <br />2"d: Long <br />Passed 5 to 1 <br />g) Lakeside Lions Park Parking Lot — Update is attached <br />• City Council recommended a new design option (Option No. 4 — <br />modified by adding 4 more feet). Stripe as option no. 3. The <br />Commission concurred <br />h) Greenfield Ballfield Reservations <br />An email was attached <br />Thee was a issue of a coach not satisfied with the City policy for <br />reserving fields <br />The Commission indicated a desire to keep the reservation policy as is <br />and that this particular coach needs to apply sooner. <br />4. New Business: <br />Commission inquired as to the status of the Lakeside Lions <br />Park Fishing Pier. Staff will contact Spring Lake Park. SLP <br />was administrating the financing. <br />Commissioner/Staff Reports <br />Announce Vacant Seat — Deadline to apply is 4:30pm April 19, 2004. <br />6. Request for future agenda items/other business <br />Possible Items for April 22nd Agenda <br />• Commissioners indicated that they would like to meet with the City <br />Forester. <br />
