<br />The total cost to produce and print the guide along with the frequency of reproduction will be discussed by the Commissioners at a future date. <br /> <br />YMCA Committee Update – <br />The Committee met February 7, 2005 <br />Discussed spring programs <br />Recreation software to be approved by City Council on February 28, 2005. <br />Carpet in the banquette center area is scheduled to be installed starting February 28, 2005. <br />The purchase and installation of four additional security cameras was approved by City Council on February 14, 2005. These will be installed next Wednesday. They will cover the hallways <br /> and the front desk. <br />Year-end ice rink summary was presented. The rinks are now closed. <br />Hillview ice rink was the most popular this year. The new skate track was a big success. <br />There was a spike in usage on Mondays due to skate lessons given – 2 full classes. <br />There was a question regarding YMCA funding. This is NOT derived from the Park Dedication Fund. <br />The garage sale held at the Community Center raised $750 <br /> <br />2004 Park Needs Analysis – <br />This was reviewed and discussed at the January 27, 2005 Parks and recreation Meeting. <br />The final version was brought back for the Commissioners for their review and approval. <br />Items in Category B will go the City Council on March 28, 2005 for approval. <br />Category C items are capital improvement items (Long-range more costly items) and therefore appear as a separate category and are approved by the City Council as part of the City’s long-range <br /> financial plan. <br />There was a question and discuss / explanation regarding Item A3 – Bridge for disc golf. <br />Include Lambert Fence in Item B. <br />Perform a Park Tour in May. <br />Motion to approve Parks Needs Analysis and bring it to the City Council for approval – with the addition of Item B9 Lambert Fence: <br />Motion made by Palm <br /> 2nd: Aukee <br />Motion passed unanimously
