Residential Dwelling Any dwelling unit in a one-, two-, three-, or four-unit building <br /> Unit(RDU) within the City occupied by a person or group of persons. <br /> Notwithstanding the foregoing definition,any of one-,two-,three-, <br /> or four-unit dwellings that are a part of a multi-family association <br /> that currently disposes of trash in a dumpster and receives a single bill <br /> directly from a Hauler shall not be considered an RDU and shall not <br /> be eligible for Services or other benefits of this Contract identified <br /> and intended for eligible RDUs. <br /> Residential Solid Waste All applicable tasks designated under this Contract. Tasks include, <br /> Collection without limitation: the purchase and distribution of all applicable <br /> Carts as specified for aggregation of Trash,Recyclables,and/or Yard <br /> Waste for use by eligible RDUs; the collection of all Solid Waste <br /> from eligible RDUs which normally results from the operation of a <br /> household including,but not limited to:all Trash,Recyclables,Yard <br /> Waste, Bulky Waste, and Electronic Waste. Tasks also include <br /> billing,reporting,other administration,customer service and public <br /> education responsibilities as specified in this Contract. <br /> Request for Proposals The Request for Proposals issued by the City on May 14,2024 for <br /> Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Services. <br /> Senior Discount The rate paid by residents over the age of 65 for Services. <br /> Services See"Residential Solid Waste Collection Services." <br /> Single-stream Recycling The recycling system whereby an RDU sets out Recyclables in a <br /> Recyclables Cart to be collected by a Hauler,with the Recyclables <br /> later processed and sorted at a Materials Recovery Facility. <br /> Solid Waste Has the meaning prescribed in Minnesota Statutes, Section 116.06, <br /> Subdivision 22. <br /> Source-separated Has the meaning given under Minnesota Administrative Rules, <br /> organic material Section 7035.0300,Subpart 105a.The term source-separated organic <br /> (SSO1V1) material does not include Yard Waste for purposes of this Contract. <br /> (Also identified as"Organics"in this Contract.) <br /> Subcontractor A legal entity that has a subcontract with Hauler to provide some <br /> portion of the work or Services specified in the Contract. <br /> The fee charged by the Trash Disposal Facility for the processing of <br /> Tipping Fee Trash which will be paid directly by Hauler to the facility. <br /> 5 <br /> MU210\313\963095.v4 <br />
