This Contract is made and entered into this day of 2024, by and <br /> between the City of Mounds View,a municipal corporation("City")and LRS of Minnesota,LLC, <br /> a limited liability company organized under the laws of the state of Delaware("Hauler"). <br /> RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS,the City,pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 115A.94, desires to establish an <br /> organized solid waste collection program for its residents;and <br /> WHEREAS,on May 14,2024,the City issued a Request for Proposals to provide such services; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, LRS of Minnesota, LLC (hereinafter"Hauler") submitted the successful proposal <br /> and the parties wish to enter into an agreement for Hauler to provide Solid Waste and Recycling <br /> Collection Services to the City: <br /> NOW,THEREFORE the City and Hauler agree as follows: <br /> Definitions and Abbreviations <br /> The following terms,whenever used in these specifications,shall have the meanings set forth <br /> in this Section unless otherwise limited or expanded. <br /> Additional Collection The following collection services are not included in the Base Level of <br /> Service Options collection services,but are available upon request for additional fees <br /> as reflected in Exhibit A: <br /> • Overflow Trash; <br /> • Yard Waste; <br /> • Bulky Waste; <br /> • Electronic Waste; <br /> • Late Set-Out Pickup; <br /> • Cart Size change fee(2"d or more per calendar year per RDU); <br /> • Extra Cart delivery;and <br /> • Extra Collections of Trash,Recyclables,Bulky Waste and <br /> Electronic Waste <br /> Each of these Additional Collection Service Options will be provided <br /> at an additional charge billed to the RDU. <br /> Base Level Services The following collection services that are provided to all RDUs for the <br /> Base Fee as reflected in Exhibit A: <br /> • Trash collection and disposal including 1 trash cart <br /> • Recyclable collection including unlimited carts <br /> • Billing <br /> • Customer Service <br /> 1 <br /> MU210\313\963095.v4 <br />
