f) Facility Guide Update <br />3,000 copies are being printed. Copies may be available at the meeting. <br />Copies will be available at City Hall and at the Mounds View Community Center. They will also be <br />available at special events such as the Annual Town Hall Meeting and the Festival in the Park. It <br />will also be made available on the City’s web site. <br /> <br />g) Recycling Containers in Park Buildings – The recycling budget allows for placement of recycling <br />containers within the park building. They have been ordered for Hillview, Groveland, and Random Park <br />Buildings and the Mounds View Community Center. <br /> <br />h) Hillview Parking Lot <br />th <br />On November 16 the Commission made a motion to recommend construction of a parking lot at <br />Hillview Park as part the 2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project. This motion was based <br />on receiving neighborhood support and utilizing Municipal State Funds to finance the construction. <br />The City Council has indicated support for this recommendation. Official approval would be <br />obtained on February 13, 2007, should the City Council order the street and utility project. <br /> <br />i) Shari Kunza has decided not to extend her term on Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission. <br />The Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission, along with staff, would like to thank Shari for <br />her hard work, dedication, and commitment to improving park amenities and recreation activities in <br />the City of Mounds View. The City Council will officially recognize Shari via a Resolution of <br />Appreciation on January 8, 2007. <br /> <br />j) Vacant Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission Seat <br />This will be re-advertised with an extended deadline of January 19, 2007, to submit applications. <br />(Invite interested parties to fill out an application for vacant seat on the commission) <br /> <br />k) Any Other Reports? <br /> <br /> <br />8.
