This should be reviewed and approved by the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />6. New Business: <br /> <br />a.) Meeting with City Council – Annually the Commission meets with the City Council to discus various <br />issues. This meeting has tentatively been set for April 7, 2008. Does this date work for the <br />Commissioners? A list of topics to discuss should be developed at the February 28, 2008 meeting. The <br />following is a list topic during last years meeting with City Council: <br /> Oakwood Park Improvement Project <br /> Improving Ball Fields <br /> Operations of the Mounds View Community Center <br /> Attendance of the Commission at City Council Meetings <br /> Bethlehem Baptist Church – Donation Process and Procedure <br /> Number of Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commissioners? <br /> <br /> <br />b.) Bethlehem Baptist Church Donation Committee – The Committee will consist of Jim Ericson, Steve <br />Dazenski, Council Member Haul, Dan Weldon, and one P&R Commissioner. John Kroeger or Cindy <br />Palm? (one could be the back up person) <br /> <br /> <br />c.) Other New Business? <br /> <br /> <br />7. Commissioner/Staff Reports: <br /> <br />a) Park Sign Replacement Program Update – The four signs that were budgeted in 2007 have been <br />delivered. These were for: Silver View, Random, Hillview, and Groveland parks. Only the Hillview <br />sign was installed before the fall freeze up. The remaining fours signs have been included in the 2008 <br />budget. These are for: Lambert, Oakwood, Woodcrest and Greenfield. <br /> <br />b) ALRC Biking Committee—Darren Peterson will be a representative for that committee. Next meeting <br />th <br />is March 16 at the Roseville City Hall. <br /> <br />c) Parks Promotional Video – Vanessa is currently editing the video. A screening of a draft video will be <br />th <br />played at the March 27 meeting for the Commissioner’s review and comment. The final version will <br />th <br />be played and the Town Hall Meeting scheduled for April 19. It will also be play periodically on the <br />cable network. <br /> <br />d) Any Other Reports? <br /> <br /> <br />8.
