Parks& Recreation New Brighton Pavilion Rental Use Agreement Please Sign and Return. Keep a copy for your records • Payment in full is required to guarantee a reservation made online. • If the reservation is canceled less than 14 days prior to the event, 50%of the rental fee will be retained. If cancelation is less than one week prior to the event,the entire rental fee will be retained. Refunds are not given for inclement weather. • You may only access the pavilion during the time stated on the contract.You may not access the space prior to the contract time. Entering the pavilion before a rental groups contracted time or staying past the contracted time will result in your account being flagged and you will not be allowed to book the facility in the future. • The facility does not have staff on hand. • If, upon entering the Pavilion, you notice: vandalism, a mess or damage or if you need to reach someone immediately, please call 651-775-3420 (Mike Schute). Please be aware this staff Y ) member is not on duty and may not be easily accessible. On holiday reservations,staff will not be accessible. • If you are unable to reach Mike,call 651-638-2130 (#6) (NBCC front desk). In an emergency situation, call 911. • The pavilion does have outlets for heating items.There is no grilling allowed inside the pavilion. Food can be grilled outside of the pavilion as long as it is a non-charcoal grill and is being monitored at all times. • The restrooms will be accessible to the general public. • The restrooms are on timers and unlock at 7:00am and will lock at 9:00pm. • Decorations, banners,or signs may not be pinned,or otherwise affixed to the pavilion,ceiling or beams. Confetti,glitter,silly string and piñatas are not allowed. Balloons must be secured by weights,to avoid flying away.Your account will be flagged and you will not be allowed to book the facility in the future if decorations are not removed. • New Brighton parks are tobacco free. However, if a facility is rented,smoking and vaping is allowed under the pavilion. Please notify your guests about the smoking policy. • Parking is allowed in parking lots only. No vehicles are allowed on the grass, sidewalks, paths, etc. • Cleanup responsibilities are listed on your facility waiver along with your Receipt.Tables should be cleared and wiped down,trash consolidated into the trash receptacles. • Rental groups are responsible for littered trash outside on the grounds of the building during contracted rental times. If the grounds are left littered or if trash is pouring out of cans,your account will be flagged and you will not be allowed to book the facility in the future. • Music must be contained to the facility being rented and should not be at a level that would disturb neighbors, park users, or general public. Your account will be flagged if police are called to the premises due to excessive noise. • Before leaving,the group is responsible to make sure tables are cleared and wiped down,trash consolidated into the trash receptacles and decorations removed.The contract holder will be held responsible for any damage done to the pavilion during your contracted time. • New Brighton Parks and Recreation is not liable for items brought into or left overnight at the facility(i.e. supplies, equipment,or decorations).
