RESOLUTION 9982 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVAL OF SERVICE CONTRACTS WITH TRANE BUILDING SERVICES <br /> FOR HEATING VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) AT CITY HALL <br /> AND THE COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, the City owns thirteen separate facilities with heating, ventilation and <br /> air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, which require more complicated contractor <br /> assistance with preventative maintenance to allow reliable, efficient and safe operation <br /> while providing comfortable indoor air climates; and <br /> WHEREAS, Trane had been performing HVAC maintenance for City Hall and the <br /> Community Center since 2007; and <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works Staff, after careful consideration, is recommending <br /> Trane Building Services perform BAS and HVAC equipment maintenance at City Hall and <br /> Community Center Facilities. <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works Staff has received quotes as follows: <br /> Trane Building Services City Hall: <br /> Year 1: $3,157.50/quarter ($12,630.00 annually) <br /> Year 2: $3,515.75/quarter ($13,263.00 annually) <br /> Year 3: $3,481.50/quarter ($13,926.00 annually) <br /> Year 4: $3,655.25/quarter ($14,621.00 annually) <br /> Year 5: $3,838.25.00/quarter ($15,353.00 annually) <br /> Trane Building Services Community Center: <br /> Year 1: $3,778.50/quarter ($15,114.00 annually) <br /> Year 2: $3,967.50/quarter ($15,870.00 annually) <br /> Year 3: $4,166.00/quarter ($16,664.00 annually) <br /> Year 4: $4,374.25/quarter ($17,497.00 annually) <br /> Year 5: $4,593.00/quarter ($18.372.00 annually) <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works Staff recommends that Trane Building Services be <br /> contracted for BAS and HVAC preventative maintenance on municipal buildings. <br /> The Mounds View Vision <br /> A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
