Mounds View City Council September 3, 2024 <br />Special Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn explained she could attend this meeting on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark discussed the Community Resource Fair and Family Fun Day that would <br />be held on Saturday, September 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Community Center. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would be attending a retirement party for an NYFS <br />employee. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark reported the community clean-up day would be held on Saturday, <br />September 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he would be attending a Ramsey County League of Local <br />Government Climate Action Committee meeting on Wednesday, September 4. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom indicated early voting would begin on Friday, September 20 at the Roseville <br />Library. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom reported he would be hosting his next coffee event on Sunday, September 8 at <br />5:00 p.m. at Dos Hermanos where US Senate Candidate Royce White would be in attendance. He <br />commented on Sunday, September 15, he would be hosting a coffee event at 8:30 a.m. at Caribou <br />Coffee where Ramsey County judge candidate Winona Yang would be in attendance and at 5:00 <br />p.m. at Dos Hermanos he would have US House Candidate Lor Xiong. He explained on Sunday, <br />September 22, he would be hosting a coffee event at 8:30 a.m. at Caribou Coffee where Ramsey <br />County Commissioner candidate Tara Jebens-Singh would be in attendance and at 5:00 p.m. at <br />Dos Hermanos he would have Ramsey County judge Timothy Kerry. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom wished everyone a happy first day of school. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />Police Chief Zender commended his officers on their efforts during Festival in the Park. He <br />indicated Public Works also did a tremendous job. He provided the Council with a quick staff <br />update, noting the City now had two CSO’s. He reported the police/fire softball game would be <br />held on Saturday, September 7 at 3:00 p.m. <br /> <br />10. Next Council Work Session: Immediately following this meeting <br />Next Council Meeting: Monday, September 9, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />11.
