Motion by Lillemo, 2nd by Palm to include the following in the agreement with IBL <br /> in logical order by the attorney: 1) Winter accessibility will not be provided by the city, 2) IBL <br /> manages the maintenance and repairs to the structure (roof with a life span, walls and <br /> painting/upkeep, damaged doors/locks that might be due to vandalism), 3) the City would <br /> maintain any spot coverage of graffiti on the outside, but IBL will maintain painting to match <br /> existing park building with City approval on color 4) the structure would belong to the City if <br /> IBL wants out of the contract. 5) The contract needs to include insurance for IBL property. 6) <br /> IBL should not be allowed to have advertisements on the building. 7) The fee of$20 per month <br /> or$200 upfront which is subject to increase based on future unknown expenses to the City <br /> starting in 2026; beginning in 2025. There is a lot of excitement about it! Thanks again to Public Works and The <br /> Festival in the Park Committee, the MVPD, and residents who attended. Park benches along MV Blvd <br /> need a trash can near them. The old benches are out there, but new benches have not been installed yet, <br /> but will have trash cans with them! Does the Commission want to have a tent/presence at the Festival in <br /> the Park next year? Could coordinate with MVCC staff if they have a tent to get feedback on programming. <br /> 10.
