ROLL CALL: Cermak, Clark, Gunn, Lindstrom, Meehlhause. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 NOT PRESENT: None. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> 21 A. Monday,December 2, 2024, City Council Agenda. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Gunn. To Approve the Monday, December 2, 2024, agenda as <br /> 24 amended adding Public Comment prior to Council Business. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 4B. PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Murwo Mohamed, 2657 Mounds View Boulevard, requested the Council make an investment in <br /> 31 the workout equipment at the Community Center. She asked that the City add a leg press and smith <br /> 32 machine to the Community Center. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Brian Amundsen, 3048 Woodale Drive,thanked the Council for their support during the elections. <br /> 35 He explained he was a head judge for Precinct 2 and noted he appreciated the expansion into the <br /> 36 Community Center given the number of people that voted on Election Day. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 5. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> 39 <br /> 40 A. Truth in Taxation Presentation. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Finance Director Bauman reviewed the proposed 2025 budget in detail with the Council indicating <br /> 43 it was the City's mission to provide high quality public services in a fiscally responsible manner. <br /> 44 She discussed the variables that impact tax bills and described the process the City follows in order <br /> 45 to approve its budget and tax levy. She commented on why tax bills change, which had to do with <br /> 46 market value changes, budgets and levies of various jurisdictions, special assessments, voter <br />
