APPROVED <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Special Meeting <br />January 6, 2025 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Mounds View Boulevard, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />6:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />1. MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />3. OATH OF OFFICE: Mayor Lindstrom, Council Member Meehlhause and Council <br />Member Smith <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund administered the Oath of Office to Mayor Zach Lindstrom, Council <br />Member Gary Meehlhause and Council Member Kathryn Smith. A round of applause was offered <br />by all in attendance. <br /> <br />4. ROLL CALL: Clark, Gunn, Lindstrom, Meehlhause and Smith <br /> <br /> NOT PRESENT: None. <br /> <br />5. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. Resolution 10029, Designating Acting Mayor, Treasurer, Official Newspaper <br />and Depositories for 2025. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council select an Acting Mayor, Treasurer, Official <br />Newspaper and Depositories for 2025. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated the Pioneer Press was selected as the City’s official newspaper <br />last year because it was a daily newspaper. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn supported this recommendation and suggested the Press Publications be <br />selected as the secondary newspaper. The Council was in agreement. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause explained he was willing to continue serving as the Acting Mayor. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund suggested Village Bank be added as the City’s secondary depository. <br />The Council supported this recommendation. <br />
