Mounds View City Council January 6, 2025 <br />Special Meeting Page 2 <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Clark. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10029, <br />Designating Acting Mayor, Treasurer, Official Newspaper and Depositories for 2025 as discussed. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 10031, Appointing City Council Members and City Staff as <br />Representatives for City Commissions and Other Organizations for 2025. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council appoint City Council Members and City Staff <br />as Representatives for City Commissions and Other Organizations for 2025. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom recommended the appointment for the EDC remain open at this time. He <br />suggested the Council discuss the respective appointments beginning with the Ramsey County <br />League of Local Government. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith stated she would be willing to serve as the representative for the Ramsey <br />County League of Local Government. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom explained he would serve as the League of Minnesota Cities representative. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark indicated she would be willing to serve as the alternate. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom reported he would serve as the representative for the North Metro Mayors and <br />Council Member Meehlhause would serve as the alternate. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom stated any member of the City Council can attend the quarterly Mounds View <br />Business Council meetings. <br /> <br /> <br />Council Members Gunn and Meehlhause were willing to serve on the Development Review <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn reported she would be giving up her position on the NSCC/NSAC, but <br />would be attending the first few meetings of 2025. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith indicated she would be willing to serve as the representative for <br />NSCC/NSAC. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated she could serve as the NSCC/NSAC alternate. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund indicated he would serve as the NYFS representative. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause and Council Member Gunn both wanted to continue serving on the <br />HR Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported he would be willing to continue serving as the
