08E - Attachment 2 <br />M0UNDS VIEW <br />Community Development Department <br />2401 Mounds View Blvd. Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />Telephone: (763) 717-4023 • Fax: (763) 717-4019 <br />May 20, 2024 <br />RICHARD J MITCHELL <br />8391 SPRING LAKE RD <br />MOUNDS VIEW, MN 55112-6151 <br />RE: Code Violation — <br />Dear Resident and/or Property Owner: <br />A recent inspection by the Community Development Department has revealed the following violation of the <br />Mounds View City Code: <br />NOTED VIOLATION: Excessive storage of junk on the exterior of the property. <br />CODE SECTION: The City has identified a violation(s) of the Mounds View City Code, specifically: <br />Junk Accumulation <br />91.003 SUBD.C.3. - The outside piling, storing or keeping of old machinery, junk, furniture, household <br />furnishings or appliances or component parts thereof, rusting metal inoperable/unusable equipment, or other <br />debris visible on private or public property. <br />INSPECTOR COMMENTS: <br />Discontinue exterior storage of junk items including but not limited to, old construction materials, machinery, <br />appliances, barrels and scrap metal. All other storage of materials shall be stored interior of permanent structures. <br />REINSPECTION TERMS: A re -inspection will be conducted on 6/27/2024. <br />If you fail to correct the violations within the time specified above you will be subject to further legal action. <br />Additionally; the City Council may, after notice to the owner and occupant or other responsible party and an <br />opportunity to be heard, provide for abating (correcting) the violation by the City at your expense.
