(MSFC Sec. <br />1030.3) Exit sign on the east egress door is blocked by decorative suspended <br />lighting. <br />Mounds View Fire Inspector, Isaiah Schoeman, has indicated that a Temporary CO has <br />been issued and that adequate fire, life, health, and safety compliance has been achieved <br />to allow for employees and non -construction workers to operate safely within the <br />restaurant. He added that the kitchen and drive -through service window operation are <br />allowed to operate fully for the public, but that the interior restaurant may not be open to <br />the public until a Final Certificate of Occupancy is granted. <br />A representative for Popeyes, Majid Nasim, has indicated that he will join the City Council <br />meeting via Zoom. <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: Our licensing ordinance <br />and its requirements along with the renewal applications listed relate to our Vision <br />Statement; "...welcoming a desirable destination to all ages and cultures ... and a place <br />where residents can live, work and play safely" and by approving the license renewals <br />the City will "....maintain a positive business climate where businesses want to locate and <br />remain in Mounds View". <br />Financial Impact: None <br />Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of Resolution 9426, approving a Class <br />B Restaurant License for Mounds View Chicken LLC, dba Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, <br />for the property located at 2213 Mounds View Boulevard. Interior seating and service <br />cannot take place until a final Certificate of Occupancy has been issued.
