RESOLUTION NO. 9429 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN/DUCK-KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />MELINDA CHRISTENSEN, 2085 TERRACE DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 903, which amended Chapter 701 <br />of the Municipal Code to provide limited and controlled raising and keeping of chickens <br />and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Melinda Christensen has submitted an application with an approved <br />site plan and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens and/or ducks on her property <br />located at 2085 Terrace Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it appears to meet all <br />requirements set forth in Ordinance 903; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance 903, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing which was held June 14, <br />2021; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a Chicken/Duck-Keeping License for Melinda Christensen, 2085 Terrace <br />Drive, for no more than eight chickens or eight ducks or a combination of both; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this license is effective from June 15, 2021 to <br />December 31, 2021. <br />Adopted this 14t" day of June, 2021. <br />Carol A.
