Mounds View City Council April 23, 1990 <br />Regular Meeting Page Three <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve Resolu- <br />tion No. 3031, approving the White Oak Homeowners <br />Association wetland alteration permit for general <br />yard maintenance, and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />There were no residents requests or comments from <br />the floor. <br />Motion/Second: Paone/Wuori to approve the consent <br />agenda, as presented, and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Finance Director Brager reported nothing has changed <br />since this was discussed preliminarily with the <br />insurance agent Charles Clysdale of the McGuire <br />Agency. <br />Mr. Brager reported all but workers comp would be <br />written by the Greater Minnesota Cities Insurance <br />Trust, as they have done such a good job that oth <br />companies have difficulty competing with them. H <br />also reviewed the premium comparisons. There wil <br />be a 16.3 increase in total premium this year, <br />to $135,691. <br />Attorney Karney advised against purchasing the <br />umbrella policy, as the City has immunity over <br />$600,000. <br />er <br />e <br />1 <br />Mayor Hankner noted the Council had heard the <br />presentation from Mr. Clysdale last week. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Wuori to approve the <br />insurance proposal for the City of Mounds View <br />presented by Charles Clysdale, for renewal on <br />May 1, 1990. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />7.
