Public Hearing: <br />the second public hearing at 8:23 PM. Consideration <br />of Wetland <br />City Planner Hren reviewed the request of the Alteration <br />applicant to add a four season porch to the back Permit, Duane <br />of his home, noting the construction would be Betker, 2310 <br />almost entirely within the buffer zone. Sherwood Road <br />Councilmember Wuori asked for a clarification of <br />• how a four season porch differs from a home <br />addition. <br />Duane Betcker, the property owner, explained he <br />has no plans for heating the porch, nor plans <br />for a fireplace. <br />Councilmember Quick questioned whether that really <br />was a wetland area, and whether Staff had looked <br />into it. <br />Ms. Hren replied the building inspector had <br />visited the site, and she explained .the process <br />used in determining wetland buffer areas. <br />Mayor Hankner closed the public hearing and <br />reopened the regular meeting at 8:30 PM. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to adopt Reso- <br />lution No. 3050, approving a wetland alteration <br />permit for Duane Betker to construct a four <br />season porch in a wetland buffer zone, at 2310 <br />Sherwood Road, Planning Case No. 299-90, and <br />waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
