Mcsunds View City Council March 12, 1990 <br />'Regular Meeting Page Three <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />• Mayor Hankner stated that since changes have been <br />made to the plan since it was first received on Feb- <br />ruary 20, the consultant has recommended the hearing <br />be continued until March 26 to meet all State <br />requirements for modifying a tax increment plan. <br />Mayor Hankner closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 7:40 PM. <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard/Quick to approve Resolution <br />No. 3010, calling for a public hearing on the pro- <br />posed modification of Development District No. 2 and <br />the proposed modification of Tax Increment Financing <br />District No. 1 and the proposed adoption of the <br />modified tax increment financing plan and program <br />relating thereto, and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Paul Mielke, 516 Brighton Lane, questioned whether <br />the southeast corner of the City was included on the <br />map shown during the previous public hearing. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained that area is <br />• already in District No. 2, Tax Increment District <br />No. 1. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley requested that a restau- <br />rant license for TCBY Yogurt in Mounds View Square <br />be added under Item G. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Paone to approve the consent <br />agenda, with the addition of TCBY Yogurt under <br />Item G, and waive the reading of the resolutions. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Mr. Minetor explained the City recently had to <br />borrow a piece of equipment from the City of Fridley. <br />Fridley did not charge Mounds View but rather has <br />invited the City to join the Regional Mutual Aid <br />Association. Mr. Minetor explained the workings of <br />the Association and benefit provided. The cost is <br />$10 per year. <br />Motion/Second: Paone/Quick to adopt Resolution <br />No. 3014, authorizing a joint and cooperative <br />agreement for use of personnel and equipment - <br />Regional Mutual Aid Association, and waive the <br />• reading. <br />Motion Carried <br />7.
