Mounds View City Council Page Thirteen �egular Meeting June 14, 1993 Councilmember Rickaby stated that if Mr. McCarty hadn't received the letter and the stamp at a cost of $.29 he would have received a magnet for his refrigerator with the phone numbers. Mr. McCarty stated once again that a special notice needs to be mailed to all residents regarding the Special Election. Orduno stated that the Editorial Board, the group who plans in the City newsletter, planned to pZace an article in the newsletter regarding the Special Election. This newsletter four to eight pages in total and the election would receive `coverage. Councilmember Rickaby inquired about the times of Long Term Financial Plan and Storm Water Orduno stated that the Long Term FinanciaZ Plan m�eting was scheduled to run from 5:30 p.m. to approximately 7:00 p.m. and that the Storm Water Management.Utility was scheduled to be held at 7:30 p.m. Report of Mayor• Mayor Linke reporte� that at the League of Minnesota Cities Conference in June, Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, was elected to the League of Minnesota Cities Board. Mayor Linke stated that this is a very prestigious board and that the City of Mounds View would benefit from Orduno's election to the LMC Board. Mayor Linke congratulated Samantha Orduno on her appointment to the Board. Samantha Orduno thanked the Mayor and also reported that Councilmember Wuori was in attendance at the conference at the time of the interview and had some very nice things to say. Orduno thanked the Council for the letter of support.
