PROCEEDINGS OF THE CTI'Y COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />April 22, 1991 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />CALL TO ORDER: <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor Linke at 7:00 <br />p.m. on Monday, April 22, 1991. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />ROLL CALL <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Rickaby, Wuori, Quick, Blanchard <br />and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Clerk-Administrator Orduno, City Attorney Barney, <br />Finance Director-Treasurer Don Brager, Public Works Foreman Mike <br />Ulrich, and Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director Mary Saarion. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: April 8, 1991 Regular Meeting <br />MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Quick to approve minutes of <br />April 8, 1991 Regular Meeting <br />5 ayes 0 Nays Motion Carried <br />SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br />- On behalf of the City, Mayor Linke presented <br />Resolution No. 4070 Regarding Recognition <br />for Being the First Student to Represent <br />District 621 in the Star Tribune State <br />Spelling Bee to Mark Gibson, a student at <br />Edgewood Middle School. Also present with <br />Mark was Penny Howard, principal of Edgewood <br />Middle School. <br />- Mayor Linke proclaimed April 24, 1991 as <br />Arbor Day and the month of May as Arbor <br />Month in the City of Mounds View. <br />- On behalf of the Lion's Club, Mylo Gjerde <br />President of the Lion's Club,presented the <br />City of Mounds View with a check <br />in the amount of $2100 for the DARE Program activities. <br />
