~, ,, • • Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting January 14, 1991 Page Six City Attorney Karney reviewed minutes of December 17 and December 26 meetings re: wetland zoning ordinance. He stated that 14 days have to pass between the introduction of an ordinance and its final adoption. He advised the Council they could either adopt it at the present meeting or move. to adopt it at the next regularly scheduled meeting. Motion/Second: Wuori/Blanchard moved to adopt the Wetland Zoning Ordinance at the January 28, 1991 Council Meeting. 5 ayes 0 nays City Attorney Karney also stated that he did not participate in the development agreement with Mounds View Business Park South. Former Clerk-Administrator Pauley had an outside consultant, Robert Dieke, represent the City as far as the development agreement and negotiations with Everest Development, Ltd. In a meeting with Everest the City was informed they owed $127,788.15 to Everest. In reviewing the figures there had been an accounting error and Everest in turn owed the City $42,211.85. Mr. Karney commended Acting Clerk-Administrator Minetor and Finance Director Brager for the good work. Staff had no report. Councilmember Wuori reported a dog problem in the Pinewood School area. She requested it be brought up at the next agenda session for discussion. Councilmember Quick reported that he and Councilmember Blanchard met with the representatives of Local No. 320 today and their opinions were heard. Councilmember Quick would like to have this item put on the next agenda session agenda. 16. Wetland Zoning Ordinance Motion Carried 17.
