mounds View City Council <br />lar Meeting <br />Page Four <br />March 11, 1991 <br />CONTINUATION OF MAYOR'S REPORT... <br />May 23, 1991 at the Shoreview Community Center to <br />review budget cuts and do brainstorming regarding <br />ways to work together to solve our possible <br />possible budget problems. <br />4. Ramsev County League of Local Government will <br />be having a meeting regarding integration <br />report on the plan between the intercity and the <br />suburban city school systems on Wednesday, <br />March 20 at Roseville City Hall at 7:30 p.m. <br />5. Mayor Linke was appointed by the Ramsey County <br />Board of Commissioners to the Community Development <br />Block Grant Advisory Council which provides grants <br />to entities who provide services to persons living <br />in the Ramsey County area. Two agencies that <br />are looking for grant money are: Ramsey County <br />Rehab and Energy Resource Center. <br />• Ramsey County Rehab is an agency in Ramsey County <br />that will loan residents money to do immediate <br />repair work on their homes and it is a deferred <br />payment plan. The needs have to be those which <br />would affect the health, safety and welfare of <br />the residents. <br />Energy Resource Center will loan money for house <br />insulation and those items which would help <br />conserve energy. <br />Councilmember Wuori asked for a clarification <br />for the residents on the Community Development <br />Block Grant Fund. These grants that this agency <br />provides goes to non-profit organizations. <br />Report of Administrator: <br />1. Minnesota Statutes Section 299J.05 required the Office of <br />Pipeline Safety to adopt a model setback ordinance for all new <br />development subsequent to adoption of the ordinance. There <br />will be a public hearing on the proposed ordinance at 9:00 <br />p.m, on March 12th. Mounds View will have to August 1, 1991 <br />to implement this ordinance. <br />• <br />
