Update on Long Lake Road - the project has been delayed to <br />the spring of 1992 at which time .the contracted will be awarded. <br />Due to budget constraints and the filtering down of possible <br />cuts to the county Long Lake Road to 1992. <br />3. The Urban Land Institute will be sponsoring a breakfast <br />discussion on "Solutions tom Minnesota's Property Tax <br />Dilemma on Friday, April 5, 1991 from 7:30-10:15 a.m. at the <br />Radisson South Hotel in Bloomington. Guest speakers will be <br />Former St. Paul Mayor George Latimer and Carlson's Chief of <br />Staff and former Minneapolis City Coordinator Lyle <br />Schwarzkopf. <br />4. The League of Minnesota Cities' Legislative Conference is <br />scheduled for Wednesday, April 10th from 9:00-7:30 p.m. at the <br />St. Paul Radisson. Agenda will focus on the cities reactions <br />and plans to combat the proposed state aid cuts. Advance <br />registration deadline is April 3rd. <br />5. Jim Tobias, the City's Building Official, has accepted a <br />position with the University of Minnesota.
