unds View City Council <br />~gular Meeting <br />May 28, 1991 <br />Page Five <br />Councilmember Rickaby was also contacted by Groveland residents. She <br />contacted Police Chief Ramacher. Police Chief Ramacher indicated <br />the Police Department will monitor the road and stated that obtaining <br />the time of day of the excessive speeding would be of great helpful. <br />Councilmember Rickaby also stated that there is a state patrol who <br />lives on this road and monitors it at night when he is on duty. It <br />appears the hauler has been noted on this road approximately 6:10 a.m. <br />and the traffic problem appears to be all day long. <br />Councilmember Rickabv stated that deep ruts were made and vegetation <br />destroyed over the weekend by a party driving a bobcat over a <br />wetland area on Groveland Road. Councilmember Rickaby recommended <br />that the Council name this area protected as defined in Chapter <br />52.04 of the code immediately. <br />Mayor Linke asked City Administrator Orduno to put this item on the <br />Work Session Agenda. <br />• MAYOR'S REPORT <br />Mayor Linke reported that the bill authorizing the gathering of <br />Ramsey County residents to look at cooperative issues between the <br />cities had passed. He was not aware if the Bill had been signed by <br />the Governor. <br />Mayor Linke has submitted his name to represent this area on the <br />Consolidation Commission. <br />Mayor Linke also congratulated Councilmember Rickaby on her <br />graduation from Hamline Law School this past week. <br />REPORT OF ADMINISTRATOR: <br />City Administrator Samantha Orduno reminded the Council that <br />the first Council Work Session would be held on June 3rd at <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Orduno also reported that on June 11 through the 14th she <br />and Councilmember Wuori would be in attendance at the League of <br />Minnesota Cities Annual Conference.. <br />• <br />
