Mounds View City Council Page Four <br />~egular Meeting December 14, 1992 <br />Mayor Linke stated that this would delay processes. Mayor Linke stated that <br />this could be discussed at a Work Session. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Mayor Linke called the public hearing to consider a Conditional Use Permit <br />request (to allow the construction of an addition to an existing garage) for <br />Randy Bennett, 8303 Knollwood Drive, to order at 7:28 p.m. Ric Minetor, <br />Director of Public Works/City Engineer, reviewed Staff Report No. 429C <br />regarding the Conditional Use Permit request. Minetor stated that the <br />request meets all conditions of Chapter 40.10, Subdivision D (6) as well as <br />all other applicable requirements set forth in Chapter 40 of the Municipal <br />Code including, but not limited to, height, area and setbacks. Minetor <br />stated that the Mounds View Planning Commission had reviewed this item and <br />recommended approval of the request. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing at 7:29 p.m. <br />MOTION~SECOND: Quick/Wuori to adopt Resolution No. 4316 Approving <br />the Conditional Use Permit for Additional Accessory Building Square <br />Footage for Randy D. Bennett, 8308 Knollwood Drive <br />ouncilmember Wuori stated that all requirements of the Code had been met by <br />~r. Bennett and, therefore, approval is in order. <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />CONSENT AGENDA• <br />The Consent Agenda was read by Samantha Orduno, City Administrator. <br />Mayor Linke asked if there were any items the Council desired removed. <br />Mayor Linke removed Item B., Resolution No. 4318 Endorsing the 1993 Star of <br />the North Summer Games. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Rickaby/Wuori to adopt the Consent Agenda minus <br />Item B, Resolution No. 4318 Endorsing the 1993 Star of the North <br />Summer Games. <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Mayor Linke read Resolution No. 4318 Endorsing the 1993 Star of the North <br />Summer Games. Mayor Linke explained that Blaine, Circle Pines, Fridley, <br />Mounds View, New Brighton and Spring Lake Park have been contacted to serve <br />as host communities for the Star of the North Summer Games. Mayor Linke <br />explained that Mounds View will support the efforts of the local organizing <br />committee by making its community facilities and venues available for the <br />1993 Star of the North Summer Games as well as provide limited services and <br />~upport to conduct the competitions and special events associated with the <br />993 Star of the North Summer Games. <br />
