unds View City Council <br />~gular Meeting <br />Page Three <br />February 24, 1992 <br />Mayor Linke stated that there had been an agreement between <br />the Building Inspector and Mr. Waste during the remodeling <br />of Mr. Waste's building. Mayor Linke will check to see the <br />status. <br />Have (moving van) trailer being used for storage removed <br />from the parking lot. <br />Mr. Michna requested no music or outside bands, dancing or <br />partying on or in parking areas. Entertainment should be <br />restricted to the inside of the facility only. <br />Mr. Michna further stated that there has been no action in regards <br />to this establishment taken. Mr. Michna stated he has been before <br />the Council and complained when the establishment was Muldoons. <br />Mr. Michna understood that Muldoon's violated their liquor license <br />and that's why they are not in business. Mr. Michna stated that <br />Mr. Waste has been called a good businessman. Mr. Michna further <br />stated that he knows that Mayor Linke was on the Lion's Club with <br />Mr. Waste and that he is also good friends with Mr. Blanchard. <br />Mr. Michna stated that Mr. Waste is not a good businessman if he <br />doesn't conform to City Codes. <br />~yor Linke stated that he hoped Mr. Michna's inference to Mr. Waste was <br />just a point of information and nothing more. Mayor Linke stated he did not <br />remember during the last liquor licensing review what was said but that he <br />would go back and look over those minutes. Mayor Linke stated that he and <br />Samantha Orduno, the City Administrator, had. discussed this issued recently <br />and that they propose that Mr. Michna obtain two representatives from the <br />neighborhood area and come to the Council Work Session on March 2nd and the <br />Council would try to get Mr. Waste to attend. These issues could be talked <br />about at that time. <br />Mr. Michna stated that he had talked to the Police Department and was told <br />that Bob Waste was in violation of the Code. Mr. Michna would not give <br />police person's name as he said it was heresay. <br />Mayor Linke stated that it is difficult if a name is not given because then <br />no one can check to see if there truly was a violation and why it wasn't <br />followed up on. <br />Mr. Michna brought up the fact that there was parking code violations. <br />Paul Harrington, City Planner, explained how the City determines the parking <br />needed for each site. Harrington stated the establishment needs 125 parking <br />spaces as theiroccupany is what designated how many parking stalls were <br />needed. There are 344 seats and barstools in the establishment which <br />indicates there should be one stall for each three seats according to Mounds <br />~ew's Code. <br />
