Mayor Linke further <br />indicated that the City should approve the license contingent upon the fact <br />that Mid-American Auto receive their State License within 14 days of this <br />approval. <br />MOTION/SECOND: LinkelRickaby to approve Mid-American Auto's <br />license contingent upon the fact that Mid-American Auto <br />receive their State License within 14 working days of this <br />approval and that the State License. stay in force for the <br />duration of the City's licensing period which is January 1 <br />through December 31 of each year. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br />1. Ric Minetor, Director of Public Works/City Engineer, reviewed <br />Ordinance No. 500 Amending the Municipal Code of Mounds View <br />By Amending Chapter 60 Entitled, "Building Code and License <br />Fees". Minetor explained that this ordinance brings the City <br />into conformance with the State regarding the licensing of <br />contractors and provides the Council the opportunity to set <br />a fee administrative detail with regard to the status of the <br />permits. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Wuori to approve second reading <br />and waive the reading of Ordinance No. 500 Amending the <br />Municipal Code of Mounds View By Amending Chapter 60 <br />Entitled, "Building Code and License Fees". <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />A roll call vote is necessary to adopt the Ordinance. <br />Mayor Linke - aye <br />Councilmember Rickaby - aye <br />Councilmember Quick - aye <br />Councilmember Wuori - aye <br />Councilmember Blanchard - aye <br />2. Ric Minetor, Director of Public Works/City Engineer reviewed <br />Ordinance No. 501 Amending the Municipal Code of Mounds View <br />By Amending Chapter 70 to Require Connection to the Municipal <br />Water System for All Buildings Designed for Occupancy in the <br />City. This ordinance would require all existing and new <br />buildings to connected to the municipal water system for reasons <br />• of public health. <br /> <br />
