~ounds View City Council <br />egular Meeting <br />Page Nine <br />May 26, 1992 <br />Bill Frits stated that these roads used to have ditches along them and <br />now they are boulevards. <br />Mayor Linke would like to see the code changed regarding the width of <br />the driveway. <br />Councilmember Quick stated that a party can widen their driveway by <br />using crushed stone. This can be looked into when the code is <br />rewritten. <br />Mayor Linke stated that crushed rock disappears very quickly. <br />Councilmember Quick stated that people are getting a lot of wrong <br />information that comes out of some meetings they attend. Some of the <br />persons who attend the meetings do not fully understand the process or <br />what the process is and this leads to a misunderstanding. <br />MOTIONISECOND: Quick/Wuori to Approve and Waive the First Reading of <br />Ordinance No. 511 Regarding City Wide Parking Restrictions and Set <br />Second Reading and Informational Meeting for June 22, 1992. <br />• .Councilmember Quick stated that he has four vehicles but he deals with <br />it in that you just have to learn to stack cars in an orderly fashion. <br />There is a savings to the City in the long run. <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 1 nay Motion Carried <br />5. Ric Minetor, Director of Public Works/City Engineer, stated that <br />the agreement from Ramsey County had not been received by the City <br />for tonight's meeting. Staff recommended tabling of this meeting to <br />a future meeting. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Rickaby to table indefinitely the <br />construction agreement with Ramsey County for Long Lake Road <br />Reconstruction <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />6. Samantha Orduno, City Administrator reviewed Staff Report No. <br />92-282C regarding Resolution No. 4230 Adopting the 1992 Long <br />Term Financial Plan and the 1993 Budget. Orduno stated that <br />the Mounds View City Charter requires that the City Council <br />adopt, by resolution, an Annual Budget Calendar. <br />Orduno stated that this calendar will be posted and mailed <br />to those persons who wanted any budget information mailed to <br />them. These persons attended the budget hearing in March. <br />
