MOTION/SECOND: Rickaby/Wuori to approve Resolution No. 4277 <br />which states the insufficiency of the petition to repeal <br />Resolution No. 4253 (which approved the development proposal <br />known as Greenfield Estates). <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />City Administrator Orduno asked if Kay Weseman would agree to <br />being the contact person for the petition committee and she <br />agreed. <br />B. Public Works Director, Ric Minetor, initiated a discussion <br />on extending the length of temporary employment for a seasonal <br />worker. He had determined it would be more cost effective to <br />continue the employment of a seasonal worker and have a regular <br />maintenance worker do the inspections of the water treatment <br />facility instead of hiring a consultant. The maintenance worker <br />that would be doing the inspections is qualified and wants to do <br />the work. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Rickaby to approve extending the <br />length of employment of Bill Sjulstad and pay $6.75/hr. <br />VOTE: <br />• <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />C. Councilmember Rickaby wanted to discuss recycling and said <br />the urgency was due to the timeline of submitting a request to <br />Ramsey County to participate in their program.
