MOTION/SECOND: Rickaby/Wuori to approve Resolution No. 4277
which states the insufficiency of the petition to repeal
Resolution No. 4253 (which approved the development proposal
known as Greenfield Estates).
VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried
City Administrator Orduno asked if Kay Weseman would agree to
being the contact person for the petition committee and she
agreed.
B. Public Works Director, Ric Minetor, initiated a discussion
on extending the length of temporary employment for a seasonal
worker. He had determined it would be more cost effective to
continue the employment of a seasonal worker and have a regular
maintenance worker do the inspections of the water treatment
facility instead of hiring a consultant. The maintenance worker
that would be doing the inspections is qualified and wants to do
the work.
MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Rickaby to approve extending the
length of employment of Bill Sjulstad and pay $6.75/hr.
VOTE:
•
5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried
C. Councilmember Rickaby wanted to discuss recycling and said
the urgency was due to the timeline of submitting a request to
Ramsey County to participate in their program. The intention of
her bringing up this topic was to bring information to the
attention of other Councilmembers.
There being no further business before the Council, Mayor Linke
adjourned the meeting at 6:48 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
. /~-"
Tim Cruikshank
Management Assistant
