REPORTS <br /> Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller reported Nick Erickson and K-9 Officer Niko began regular patrol duties last Monday. She noted they were successful in assisting with a missing vulnerable adult. <br /> She thanked both officers for their assistance in the community. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller explained the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting on Tuesday, June 12th at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall in the conference room. She encouraged all those <br /> interested in volunteering to attend. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller stated next weekend was the League of Minnesota Cities Conference which would be held in Duluth, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty questioned the need for volunteers for this year’s Festival in the Park. Assistant City Administrator Crane stated there was a desperate need for volunteers. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty recommended the faith based community be contacted for volunteers. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn commented Ziggy Norberg, an Irondale Student, who went to Poland has been nominated as a delegate for the State of Minnesota Convention. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty reported Irondale High School had their graduation last Tuesday. He encouraged the public to drive safely and be aware that all students were now out of school. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty noted the first Concert in the Park would be held on Thursday, June 21st at 6:30 p.m. and would feature the North Suburban Concert Band. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br /> Business License/Dog License Module (Permit Works) <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane noted the City has a database program called Permit Works. This program assists with tracking permits for Staff. However, Staff needed greater efficiencies <br /> when dealing with dog licenses and liquor licenses. Additional modules can be purchased for the Permit Works program to assist with gathering, sharing and centralizing this information. <br /> She explained the item was budgeted and requested the Council discuss the item and provide feedback to Staff. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller recommended Staff bring this item back for approval on the Council’s next Consent Agenda.
