The current owner of ABC Liquor was Ge <br /> Xiong and a request has been made to transfer this ownership to Menbe, Inc. Mr. Xiong will no longer be managing ABC Liquor. A public hearing notice was sent to all properties within <br /> 350 feet. She indicated the City was waiting on a satisfactory background check and requested approval of the transfer be contingent this item. The liquor and cigarette/tobacco license <br /> would be valid from August 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty opened the public hearing at 7:26 p.m. <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 7:26 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty questioned the length of time Menbe, Inc. had been in place.
