To Approve the June 25, 2012, City Council meeting minutes as presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />11. REPORTS <br /> Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller stated on August 18, 2012 the City would be holding Festival in the Park. Volunteers were still needed to assist with the event and a planning meeting was scheduled <br /> at 7:00 p.m. on July 31st. She encouraged all those interested to contact City Hall for further information. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty commented he and Community Development Specialist Heidi Steinmetz had recently visited with local business, FedTech on Mustang Drive. He spoke with President Dave Fox <br /> and was impressed by this business and its contributions to the community. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty noted there would be a 5K Fun Run, sponsored by Anytime Fitness on the day of the Festival in the Park. He encouraged all to take part in this event at 8:00 a.m. at Silverview <br /> Park. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson reminded the Council that an Open House would be held with property owners along County Road 10 regarding the proposed name change. He stated all business <br /> and property owners in the City are invited as well. The post office was contacted regarding a potential name change and the new name would be recognized along with County Road 10. <br /> A joint powers agreement was being discussed between the three communities to address resigning the corridor. He welcomed the Council to attend the Open House.
