Resolution 8018, Authorizing Severance Payment to Marge Norquist, Part <br />Time Account Clerk. <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane stated Marge Norquist has recently retired from the City and <br />was due a severance payment per Section 3.45 and Section 3.47 of the Mounds View Personnel <br />manual. She explained a pay out of accrued sick time totaled $4,233.10 and would be made to <br />Ms. Norquist's retirement health savings plan. An additional payment was to be made for Ms. <br />Norquist's accrued unused vacation time which totaled $923.03. Staff recommended approval of <br />the severance payments. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8018, <br />Authorizing Severance Payment to Marge Norquist, Part Time Account Clerk. <br />Acting Mayor Mueller thanked Marge Norquist for her many years of dedicated service to the <br />community. <br />Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />F. Resolution 8010, Reapproving the Final Plat and Developer's Agreement for <br />Coventry Senior Living. <br />Planning Associate Heller stated Coventry Senior Living was requesting reapproval of the Final <br />Plat and Developer's Agreement. She indicated this project was moving forward and would <br />begin ground breaking prior to winter. Staff recommended the reapproval. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8010, <br />Reapproving the Final Plat and Developer's Agreement for Coventry Senior Living. <br />Acting Mayor Mueller reviewed the park dedication fees that would need to be paid to the City <br />by Coventry Senior Living prior to the issuance of building permits. <br />Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />G. Resolution 8020, Authorizing Inspec, Inc. to Perform Preliminary Design <br />Services for Masonry Renovation and Reroofing of the 2MG Ground <br />Reservoir. <br />Public Works Director DeBar explained that the two million gallon ground reservoir was <br />constructed in 1969. He discussed the building materials used noting not improvements have <br />been made since that time. He indicated the roof replacement plan completed in 2010 <br />recommended the ground reservoir be renovated and reroofed. Staff recommended the Council <br />authorize Inspec to perform preliminary design services for this work. He noted the report <br />generated from Inspec would provide the City with an idea of the scope of work and repairs <br />
