RESOLUTION NO.10067 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE POLICE ADMINISTRATIVE VEHICLE <br /> ALONG WITH ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND SETUP COSTS <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department maintains a replacement <br /> schedule of police vehicles to ensure that the police department can provide reliable <br /> quality service to the community with a dependable fleet of police vehicles, and; <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department planned and budgeted for the <br /> replacement of one police administrative vehicle in 2025; <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department is in immediate need to <br /> replace one police administrative vehicle, <br /> WHEREAS, Saxon Fleet Services has the state bid for a Hyundai Sonata vehicle <br /> available at $28,099.00 with additional equipment and set up cost at approximately <br /> $6,762.77. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to authorize the purchase of one 2024 <br /> Hyundai Sonata police administrative vehicle at an approximate cost of $28,099.00 plus <br /> additional equipment and setup costs of approximately $6,762.77 for a total expense of <br /> $34,861.77 in the 2025 budget funded from Account 460-4200-7040. <br /> Adopted this 24t" day of February 2025. <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
