SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> 24 A. John Connelly—Metro North Chamber <br /> 25 <br /> 26 John Connelly, Metro North Chamber of Commerce, thanked the Council for his time and <br /> 27 explained the vision of the Chamber which was to promote business, develop leaders and connect <br /> 28 communities. He commented on the individuals that serve on the Chamber board and discussed <br /> 29 how they serve the community. He stated the Chamber has seen incremental growth over the past <br /> 30 two years. He invited the Council to attend a Public Policy Forum at Northern Soda on Thursday, <br /> 31 February 27 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. He commented on the new initiatives that have been <br /> 32 pursued by the Chamber, which included Green to Go and a manufacturing cohort. He further <br /> 33 described the marketing initiatives that were being pursued by the Chamber at a local level and <br /> 34 thanked the City of Mounds View for their continued support. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Mayor Lindstrom asked if the Chamber still offered Chamber Health. Mr. Connelly reported this <br /> 37 service was available to businesses with ten or fewer employees and was a member of the <br /> 38 Chamber. He reported 25 small businesses were currently under the Chamber Health group policy. <br /> 39 <br /> 4o 7. PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Mayor Lindstrom encouraged the public to speak with kindness and respect when addressing the <br /> 43 City Council during Public Comment. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Sharon Kircher, 8406 Red Oak Drive, stated Turbo Tim's was interested in donating to the Tribute <br /> 46 Park. <br />
