i <br /> 2024 Ramsey County_VCET 4t" Quarter Report <br /> In October/ November 2024, Ramsey County VCET and DEA conducted an <br /> Undercover Controlled Purchase of several pounds of methamphetamine. During that <br /> purchase, an adult female arrived and sold the methamphetamine to the Undercover <br /> Officer. Several days later, the UC contacted the Source of Supply in Mexico to <br /> purchase additional pounds of methamphetamine. When the same adult female arrived <br /> at the deal location, she was detained by Law Enforcement which led to the discovery <br /> of 10 pounds of methamphetamine in her vehicle. Law Enforcement then executed a <br /> Search Warrant on her residence where an additional 40 pounds of methamphetamine <br /> was located. <br /> Between October- November 2024, Ramsey County VCET and DEA conducted <br /> several Undercover Controlled Purchases of narcotics and identified the source of <br /> supply. A Search Warrant was executed on a hotel room near Mounds View which led <br /> to the discovery of a substantial quantity of cocaine and nearly $100,000. This case is <br /> currently ongoing and active. <br /> During the month of November 2024, Law Enforcement learned that a large shipment <br /> of methamphetamine would be arriving in the Twin Cities the following day. Through <br /> further investigative techniques, Law Enforcement began conducting physical <br /> surveillance in the Twin Cities metro area and identified a vehicle that was believed to <br /> be transporting the methamphetamine to the stash house. Law Enforcement interdicted <br /> the vehicle before it could arrive which led to the discovery of nearly 200 pounds of <br /> methamphetamine. Multiple people were arrested and booked at the County Jail. This <br /> case is currently ongoing and active. <br /> During the month of December 2024, Ramsey County VCET and DEA conducted an <br /> Undercover Controlled Purchase of multiple pounds of methamphetamine in which a <br /> "runner" arrived and sold pounds of methamphetamine to the UC. In the days, weeks, <br /> and month that followed, Law Enforcement conducted physical surveillance of the <br /> runner until one day, Law Enforcement observed him meet with an individual and load a <br /> large bin into his vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted which led to the discovery of <br /> nearly +/- 45 pounds of methamphetamine. Several arrests were made along with an <br /> additional +/- 45 pounds of methamphetamine and a firearm. <br />
