To Table Consent Agenda Item E For Further <br />Information. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />Council Member Marty pointed out a typo in Resolution 5722 in the third whereas. He then <br />asked if the position had been posted and, if so, when it closes and the timeframe for hiring. <br />City Administrator Miller indicated the position was posted, Staff has reviewed applications, and <br />interviewed for the position last Friday. She then indicated Staff would be before Council with a <br />recommendation for hiring at the next meeting. <br />Council Member Stigney asked whether the temp works a 40 hour week. <br />City Administrator Miller indicated the temp is scheduled to work a 40 hour week. <br />Council Member Stigney indicated he had an issue with the temp being paid fora 40 hour week <br />because he questions whether the City gets 40 hours worth of work out of the temp. <br />Mayor Sonterre commented that the person being replaced by the temp was afull-time <br />employee. <br />Assistant City Administrator Reed indicated the individual has been working just under 40 hours <br />per week and said she asked for a four week extension because she was not sure how interviews <br />would turn out on Friday. She then said if Council approves the recommendation for hiring and <br />the individual accepts the position, she would not need the full four-week extension for the temp. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty.
