Mounds View City Council February 24, 2003 <br />Regular Meeting Page 15 <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated the City was notified of properly potentially <br />available to the City to purchase for redevelopment and the parcel is adjacent to City owned or <br />City controlled property. <br />Mayor Linke asked that the matter be added to the next EDA meeting for discussion. <br />Council Member Stigney indicated he had received two calls regarding cable and one lady told <br />him she gets a hum and no signal and he got no signal when he tried. <br />Council Member Gunn indicated she called the cable company to discuss issues that have been <br />occurring since the switch to Comcast. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated he received a call from a resident who had called <br />Comcast to get the free cable and Comcast said they did not know what he was talking about. <br />Mayor Linke indicated that there would be a town hall meeting with Senator Bernardy and <br />Representative Betzold on March 15, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and asked that Staff <br />get the notice out on cable and the website. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson asked if Council wanted the town hall meeting cablecast. <br />• Mayor Linke indicated the meeting should be cablecast. <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. Minutes for February 10, 2003 <br />Council Member Marty requested the following changes: On Page 7, Line 7 he would like <br />clarification on Finance Director Hansen's reference to commercial paper and federal agency. <br />On Page 9, Line 25, add a comma after to. On Page 11, add that the residents discharging sump <br />water is deteriorating some of the streets in those areas. On Page 17, Line 1, change that to "if'. <br />On Page 19, Line 11 indicate that he continued by saying that some of the golfers stayed late to <br />use the driving range which generates more revenue for the Bridges. Line 18, add but now that <br />Burg and YMCA are working on a golf program for kids it is optimistic. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Approve the City Council Minutes of February 10, 2003 <br />as Amended. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />11.
