Mounds View City Council May 23, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 21 <br />• MMKR could get the extension. <br />Finance Director Hansen stated they were late with the report every year for the last five years. <br />He stated that many Cities are going through a conversion process noting that State aid funds <br />could be held up if they are late with the report. <br />Council Member Flaherty asked how long MMKR has done the audits. He stated that he would <br />like MMKR to put together an estimate of hours. He stated that he does not want just an hour <br />rate quoted; he would like to have an estimate of the total hours and dollars. <br />Finance Director Hansen stated that they did the audits from 2001 to 2005. He stated that he <br />would request an estimate from MMKR. <br />Council Member Stigney expressed concerns about an open-ended agreement stating that he <br />would also like MMKR to provide an estimate. <br />Mayor Marty expressed concerns regarding the time constraints stating that someone should be <br />working on this as soon as possible. He stated things could be held up significantly if they put <br />off the decision for another two to three weeks. <br />City Administrator Ulrich suggested requesting a letter from MMKR that includes an estimate of <br />hours and approve the resolution with the understanding that if they exceed hours estimated <br />• MMKR would have to come back to Council for approval of any additional hours or expense. <br />MOTION/SECOND Gunn/Marty To Approve Resolution 6536 Authorizing Additional Audit <br />Services from MMKR. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />N. Resolution 6533 Authorizing The Bridges lOt6 Anniversary Celebration <br />Ms. Burg stated that The Bridges golf course has been big place in the Community and they <br />would like to celebrate the fact that the golf course is going into its tenth year. She stated that <br />they are considering a rollback of prices back to 1995 and reviewed with Council. She stated that <br />several things have been considered as a part of the anniversary party including games and food. <br />Council Member Flaherty noted that the Anniversary Celebration is currently scheduled for a <br />Friday and suggested that Saturday would be more appropriate, especially if they want to bring in <br />more patrons. <br />Ms. Burg noted that Saturdays are usually quite busy and this could bring in more business on a <br />Friday. She stated that they are open to doing it anytime but Friday worked the best. <br />• MOTION/SECOND Marty/Flaherty To Approve Resolution 6533 Authorizing a rollback of <br />the green fees for The Bridges 10t1i Anniversary Celebration. <br />
